I am Torsten Schuster, an organizational and leadership development expert with over 15 years of experience in global corporations guiding executives to excel in their roles. I haven't had a coach before. What can I expect from coaching?
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as a ‘thought-provoking and creative process that inspires clients to maximize their personal and professional potential.’ For those new to coaching, this definition may sound abstract. The best way to getting a sense of the transformative power of coaching is to experience it firsthand. Coaching is a non-judgmental, personalized journey where you define your aspirations, and I guide you towards achieving them. There are no prescribed outcomes; we co-create a path that aligns with your unique goals and desired growth.
How would a typical coaching engagement with you look like?
Our journey begins with a contracting session, where we explore your goals, wishes, and align on our collaborative partnership. Based on my coaching offerings of Self-awareness, Identity, and Transformation, we craft an individualized roadmap spanning multiple coaching sessions, typically 60 minutes each. Throughout our engagement, we’ll revisit and refine the roadmap as needed, ensuring it continues to serve your evolving growth needs. Fundamentally, you decide what best supports your development.
Where does your coaching take place – virtually or onsite?
My coaching is primarily conducted virtually via online meeting platforms. Research shows that virtual coaching fosters a sense of comfort and intimacy by allowing you to connect from your preferred location, while minimizing environmental distractions and maintaining a focused presence. However, if you reside near Munich, Germany, I’m open to in-person coaching sessions.
